2019-2020 Admissions Student Ambassador Application Guidelines

Before you submit your application, watch an informational video about the program!

Thank you for your interest in the Berklee Admissions Student Ambassador Program! Please read the following guidelines carefully.

Eligible students must be in their 3rd semester or higher (physically on campus, not standing) in the fall of 2019. Eligible students also must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA.

The application will consist of three parts:

  • the online application
  • a 2-3 minute video demonstrating why we should choose you as a Student Ambassador
  • two letters of recommendation from Berklee faculty or staff

APPLICATION: Complete the online application no later than May 3, 2019. If you'd prefer to submit your application WITHOUT the required video, simply type "will email video" in the space provided on the application. However, all videos MUST be submitted to Colleen Glenney no later than May 3, 2019; either as part of the application form or by emailing the link to [email protected]

VIDEO: 2-3 minutes on why we should choose you as a Student Ambassador. You must include yourself speaking your name, major, instrument, and current semester level. That is the only requirement.  Be creative, as those videos tend to be more memorable! You must upload the video to either Youtube or Vimeo, and be sure that is is either unlisted or public so that the full committee can access it. You will need to either include the link as part of the online application, or email the link to Colleen no later than May 3.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Please ask TWO faculty or staff members to complete a recommendation on your behalf. You will be asked in the online application which faculty or staff you are asking for recommendations so that we can process them as they get entered. All recommendations must be submitted by May 3, 2019.

Finalists for the program will be contacted in mid-May to schedule an online interview with our selection committee. If you have any questions or concerns, please email Colleen Glenney, Associate Director of Recruitment, at [email protected] We look forward to reviewing your application!
